Daisy Fuentes
"I've been going to Mari Winsor's studio in Hollywood for over three years, and it's changed my body and my life."
Like most who have tried the program, Daisy Fuentes is a Winsor Pilates® success story. "Three weeks into it, people started telling me 'oh you've lost a ton of weight, what have you done?' Everything just tightened up." says spokeswoman Daisy Fuentes when describing her physical transformation as a result of Winsor Pilates.
For years, Fuentes struggled to stay in shape in her demanding job as model and actress. Realising what she was up against, Fuentes discovered a not-so-secret weapon, Mari Winsor. Mari helped Fuentes flatten and tone her stomach, firm her buns and thighs and actually shrink her hips and waistline.
Fuentes has been a regular client of Winsor's studio in Hollywood for more than three years, while remaining a household name with viewers around the world through her endorsement with the Winsor Pilates exercise program through Guthy-Renker.
The first crossover VJ to appear on both the Spanish language MTV Latino and the original MTV, Fuentes has hosted several programs on the cable music network, including "Fashionably Loud" and "House of Style". Fuentes has also been seen on the silver screen in films like "Shutterspeed". In May 2002, Fuentes hosted the Miss Universe Pageant live from Puerto Rico.
A former member of CNBC's "Talk All-Stars", Fuentes shared the limelight with such famed talkers as Phil Donahue, Dick Cavett and Geraldo Rivera as host of her own talk show.
Fuentes also gives much of her time to St Jude's Childrens Hospital, founded by Danny Thomas, UCLA/REVLON Women's Breast Cancer Research, March of Dimes and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Fuentes was born in Cuba, raised in Spain and came to America when she was eight. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
